  • Overview

    The loan opener works closely with the Director of Compliance to ensure all information entered into the Loan Origination System is accurate, up to date and corrected if there are any issues.

    Responsibilities

    The loan opener is responsible for entering loan application data into the Loan Origination Software System in an efficient manner.

    Ensures that all data is correct, current and compliant and has appropriate tests as well as Quality Control checks performed as needed

    Prepares the initial disclosure package that is sent electronically or by paper means if necessary.

    Must ensure that all documents and information in each loan file.  This information should be accurate and compliant with federal and state laws and company policy.

    The opener will submit the file to Operations in a timely manner once the information has had all the checks performed on it.

    Collaborating with Team Leads/Processors on Titles, VOE's, HOI's, redisclosing loans

    Ensure all assigned projects are completed and delivered to meet associated deadlines

    Communicate changes in deadlines, schedules, etc. to all required parties

    Provide accurate and timely updates for the executive management team, on a daily/weekly basis

    Assist supervisor with calendar management, timely and thorough preparation for special projects, as well as the drafting of reports, documentation, and presentation material as needed

    Assist executive team with daily administrative and office duties, proactively preparing for scheduled meetings and events, and other responsibilities as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    1-2 years of administrative experience 

    Must have a basic knowledge of compliance and disclosures requirements.
